It’s been 100 years since the first light bulb. Not an actual light bulb, mind you, but the idea kind of light bulb. It clicked in Harvey Couch’s head on November 13, 1913. That’s when he had the bright idea to use sawdust from the Arkansas Land and Lumber Company to generate electricity for his power company.
